Hukkel have you ever seen that movie with the line "I'm you number one fan" !
Truly stunning, I have a question. In the upper chamber will you be fitting anything in the space or are you keeping it all open? I mean like the side panel.
I dunno why they stopped making those fans they are gorgeous.
Well they still make them but green wasn't a very popular colour so they only make them in white, red and blue now. They also used to have a gold version! It would look the
**** with the current gen ASUS motherboards.
There is no upper chamber, the arch is just up
What are the sound levels like with all those fans?
In all seriousness the thing you hear are the tiny fans in the server PSUs. The Enermax fans are dead silent. I really mean that.
I have to say this is one/if not 'THE' most impressive builds on this whole site, he level of detail that has gone into this is simply astonishing, I take my hat off to you sir. Also it's extremely hard to comprehend just how big that thing is, I mean it looks like an absolute monster and I'm pretty convinced that's exactly what it is. The tubing is simply perfect and the colour scheme you've gone for is incredible.
It's almost a shame to see this finished as I so enjoyed reading about the progress on it.
Still I guess there's always your next build to look forward to
Thank you so very much DJ_Bucho. Really means a lot to me reading such comments. Makes me happy to see people enjoying to see all the hard work that goes into this. Thanks man.

OPTERON PRIME is finished in its current form. It has been an amazing experience to design a pedestal and arch (and interior) of a case. Basically I built a case around an existing case. I have learned a lot from it (and had a lot of cuts in my hands from it).
This was the final photo-session. I have also put a lot of new photos in the Opteron Prime folder on my Facebook page. Check them out. I didn't want to put up 75 photos in a row here.
I am going to try and also make a short video of it.
But if all goes right I will be transfering the hardware to another chassis in the future. Yes there will be a V2 of this build if I have my way. A V2 that will overcome the issues that I had with the current design. Apply what I have learned from my mistakes so to say
Thank you to all the sponsors who made this happen, to Django who helped me draw it all out so it could be created with machinery and thanks to Ian for always helping me out with the banners I could use in the buildlog.
A special thanks goes out to my friend Dave. Without you none of this could have happened in its current form. I owe you big time
Thanks everyone that replied in this thread!
Even though I mod because I like to do it, it is a great experience to post an update and read that people are following my thread and enjoying updates.
