Orange - When can I upgrade?

I recently got a text saying I could upgrade, but it looked a bit dodgy to me so I ignored it but it has got me curious.

I think I have 4 months left on my 18 month contract, very happy with it so just looking for a shiny new phone!

Can I ring orange now to do it or wait until nearer the end?

With orange you can upgrade in the last 3 months, so after you billing date on the 3rd month ring em up again and see what deals they can do.

I just upgraded 11 months into my 18 month contract. Just ring them and don't take no for an answer. gotta have the gift of the gab and a lot of patience!
