What I've done is taped it to the top of the case, is actually on top of the case so it can't fall, it doesnt's look pretty but its practical. I'll get some fans when I can afford it then I can use the fans to resecure the mesh.

For screwing in the motherboard, do I use the smaller threaded screws or the thicker threaded screws?

try a screw in one of the brass standoffs, it should be a perfect easy fit.

some of the thicker screws will have what looks like a self taping thread.

some screws will be bigger again, counter-sunk head and possibly black, and a really course thread, these are for fitting extra fans

Am i right in seeing theres a 5850 for 89.99 atm? i thought people were going ape for it when it was 107 recently but 89.99? is that a mistake?

Theres a 5830 for £89, a 5850 is £114

On the front panel connectors, one pin says S and an arrow, the other says G. Which ones positive and which ones negative?

the power and reset switch dont matter which way around.

if when you power it on and the power light and HDD light dont do anything just rotate the connector 180 degrees.

Yeah, on the opposite side it says S and G

but usually the black wire, or G for "ground" is the negative.

I have a AC'97 Plug and an HD AUDIO plug, similar to the case USB plugs, no idea, where they go.

put the HD audio into the right motherboard header, just leave AC'97 dangling.

There will be another plug on the board somewhere for it.

EDIT, Green socket near the rear bottom.

Okay, I finished the build, plugged the hdmi into the graphics card and my tv, plugged the supply into the wall, turned it on, the pc turns on, I forgot to put the speaker in :/, all 4 phase lights turn on, but then I get no display in my tv. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Does the 5850 card have both 6pin power connectors in it, did you use a adapter from the box to get the other 6pin?
