Ok! Turned around the one I had coming from the high street store & reordered from the HE store yesterday for the lovelyness of the 3yr warranty 
Expecting it today, but does anyone know what courier Apple use?

Yup was UPS. Got it & it's lush but there's a very very slight mark on the lid that I'm not really happy about. Problem is now I've got it I don't really wanna let it go now lol

My Macbook Pro arrived with a slight dent on the battery cover. I booked myself into a Genius and he told me that I had two options. Either go back to the online store and they'd replace the entire laptop or he could just swap the battery cover himself. He couldn't replace the entire laptop because it was a custom build.
If your machine is stock spec and you're not 100% happy with it then make an appointment in an Apple store. As you're within the 14 days they should swap out the system. If not then you can either go back to the online store and ask them to do it or just get a refund if they get grumpy.
I reckon a Genius will just swap it out though if it's default spec.

Ok Feek thanks. Guy on HE fone said they were seperate entities but he could send one out if I needed then send the one I have back. Gonna give it the weekend & go from there. Swaying towards a swap at the mo, but tbh now I've got it dont wanna let it go lol

I'd go with the swap - Especially if they're prepared to send one out and then have back the one with the mark. You can build the one you've got and it's a two minute job to swap the hard drives over when the replacement arrives.

Your spending a lot of money on a MacBook - get it sorted to a standard that your happy with. Do what Feek said and just swap the drives around when the replacement arrives!
