Origin Broadband Recommendation

Fantastic but im only 600 meters from my cab. 100% unlimited and no throttling. I've downloaded well over 1tb in 3 months without any warning letters etc.

My typical download speed is between 4 - 4.5mbps.

Nice I'm about 10 meters away from my cab sO it's look good ......... Once it's installed

You guys should check out www.littlebigone.com. They are a new ISP on the Digital Region network but they are far more established that Origin Broadband :)

Not heard of these. They are slightly more expensive than Origin but im sure the service will be as good.

EDIT: Just noticed they mention a TV service which they are rolling out soon. Quite intregued by this.

Did you get this enabled Gman? How have you found it so far?

Sure did, the first week was a little hit and miss with the speeds, sometimes it'd be 8meg leave it for 20mins and you'd get 20meg etc. But since the updates last week its been a solid 39 meg down 7up. :D

Yeah they increased something at their end and its made my connection solid. 5mbps download speeds all day long

Out of the above options, ask4 are the biggest, most established ISP on there by some way.

Think I'll stick with my Virgin Media 50Mb for the time being however.

I'd say that's probably true, but biggest and most established isn't necessarily best. All companies have to start somewhere.

I've just started the migration process to Origin from BE. Took a bit of soul-searching to leave a company I've been so happy with, but I'm taking a leap of faith, and worst case I can go back to them later if need be.

I too am curious about what makes you say that? :)

[Edit] And this is your one and only single post? You've missed out on all of the services they offer too. Littlebigone will be offering IPTV services soon.

Based on the hundreds of posts on a local forum discussing the various companies.

All of the services? Which do you mean? LBO have mentioned some IPTV services at some point but no details as yet so irrelevant.

I agree with someone above, the biggest and most established isn't necessarily the best - if I had crap broadband and was looking to take a Digital Region connection then I'd be investigating each company and giving them a call before I made up my mind!
