You may want to get in the habit of referencing your source when you quote someone then, especially when you have your own website.

heh, Phoenix harass is even better against zerg in my experience! Killing a queen or two early on can make a huge difference, and you can also kill a significant number of overlords and drones if it goes really well. The downside is that it takes a ton of apm to pull off and also when it goes wrong it goes...really wrong :P

Seen quite a few people on different threads discussing this. I am surprised that Blizzard has given no real warning of when it will be coming out. If they suddenly just spring it on everyone they may not get as many people joining in as they would hope for. I presume it will be an open beta... dunno if that has been announced yet?
 
ive gotten myself addicted to Killing Floor and ... even worse.. Civ 4.. i'll need some help coming back! :p lol

I love Phoenixes against Zerg. In the last patch though, the queens got a buff to anti air. A typical Zergy will get a third queen if he scouts your stargate so it's hard to justify the costs.

The phoenix is definitely a great unit, but it requires a lot of skill to use effectively. And by effectively, I mean you have to be attacking 100% of the time with those phoenixes AND macroing AND creating a viable ground army composition to deal with an inevitable hydra push.

It's a lot harder to do effectively than it looks when you watch guys like Nony pulling it off. The risk is, you kill 4 overlords, maybe snipe a queen or two and 3/4 drones. That will hurt the zerg a lot. But then they have 3 queens, some spore towers and 4 or so hydras and your harass is no longer viable.

Another minute later they have a big wad of lings and hydras, and if you've been focusing on phoenix micro too much you _WILL_ get rolled.
