**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Didn't even know the middle mouse could be used for that, going to give it a try as I need to get out of the habit of using arrow keys and into using shortcuts more. the only shortcuts I really use atm are CTRL groups...
 
Im seriously crap at MP lol, out of 32 games ive won 2, and thats because they left...Half of the time i get rushed within 5 mins with marines and medivacs lol, by that point ive just got my first batch of marines out..i need to give in i think.
 
Watch replays and day9, you will learn a lot.

I'm pretty poor at 1v1, so 90% of the time I play 2v2 or 3v3 which I find more fun.
 
Just got zergling rushed again. Weirdly when the game loaded it said he was terran yet i went to scout and he was zerg wtf :confused:

Then i see my base being attacked and my 2 marines couldnt stop the 6/7 zergs before they got through my wall and annihilated me.
 
MY friend's StarCraft 2 gives him bluescreens :(

SC2 is a great game. I play 1v1s mostly but I find 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 a lot mroe fun.

just put a couple scvs to repair the buildings at your wall. i've never encountered that glitch though.

Hold position. It tells your units to attack only enemies within their range (i.e. how far they can shoot or stab) without moving.

Protoss often use it with zealots against Zerg to "Hold" a ramp (i.e. Zealot Barricade), preventing zerlings from passing. Zerg also do this with roaches to prevent light units from walking into their base.

You should also put units by watch towers on hold position to stop them chasing any enemy unit that runs by (and thus giving away their position)

The downside is things like Lings not attacking/running away when being shot at.

I had 2 repairing it the lings just munched straight through. Was nothing i could do at all.

Just got completely out done by another terran his army was a mess of everything yet he picked apart my MMM with ease.

Shocking... TBH if they were in that bad a shape that they couldn't deal with 4 marauders and an SCV building a bunker. I suspect you could have forgone the bunker and killed their probes. (or at least taken out the pylon powering their Gateway(s)).

I could have but it's more fun to toy with them :)
 
Just got raped by zealots. Thought it was going well with my usual MMM hadnt put any pressure on but i was defending well and expanding all of a sudden 3 million zealots rush me and i get flattened :(

yourdaddy 285 i will be on tommorw all day as on holiday at the moment, if you up for any games then, or anywhere else for that matter who wants to play vs a weak toss player :cool:

Marauders works well against zealots. If you micro them by moving away from the zealots, pressing H, moving away, pressing H and so on, this works well (unless they have charge).
