**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

1.2 won't be released this week,Bliz announced that they are still doing some tests and that they plan to release it next week.

I don't know if the ladder reset would be ideal for me atm,I cant imagine playing from scratch again to go where I am at right now.Could be a fresh start though.

Other than that,chat channels might be cool,the rest I'm not really interested in as a Terran player,might have an even harder time vs Protoss but what can you do :p
 
Oh dear good/bad news.

Blizz said patch is delayed until next week as was already mentioned here and they also said the ladder reset is not coming.

Quote: "We don’t have any plans to reset the ladder with the upcoming patch, but we do plan to reset it when we roll the season in a future patch. We’ll keep everyone informed as we get closer to that point."

Also Congratulation on finally getting promoted Houd ;)
 
Thanks for the congrats guys, feels weird not seeing Division Rank 1 all the time now though! Does anyone know if chat channels are definitely in the next patch? They're the only thing I'm really looking forward to.
 
Does anyone else do some good educational commentary other than Day[9] for SC2? His videos don't load on my work network.

And if you're zerg psystarcraft is pretty good and basically does the same thing :). Some of day9's stuff is on youtube too (here) but a lot of them are missing.
 
thought i'd run a little stress test on my new machine this evening by doing a cutom 4vs4 with some friends. everyone engaged in one big battle. all max supply; 4 players with carriers and a mothership each, with the remaing 4 maxed on ravens and battlecrusers. i'll let you guess who won.. ;P

but more importantly of my 7 friends the only one who didn't 'slow down the game' was me. it's official, my new machine can handle sc2 :D
 
My brother got starcraft 2 for christmas, which im now "sharing" aka hogging it xD

Im not great currently but im watching loads of day9, husky and HD videos ^^
