Definitely not true for me. glhf is just something everyone says no matter what they're doing. In fact, it's usually the ones who don't speak that do something dodgy for me lol. I say glhf every game and I haven't cheesed anyone yet.
EU got reset for some reason, I don't know why. Just your rankings and games though. The one they're planning on doing soon will wipe everything for everyone worldwide, including your profile.
my friends list was also gone
Mine hasn't been reset yet, 85 games, still trying to get out of copper

Its one "Server" that you connect to, and they give you a few "practice games" at a slower speed, then they give you some "ranking" games to try to work out your skill level, then they drop you into the appropriate league best suited to your level, if you win too much you will be promoted up to a higher league, if you loose too much you will get relegated. So overall you should end up playing people of your skill level
Also you can set up custom games and invite "Friends" to the game, a few of us manage to get a game or 2 in per night
Ah sounds good, thanks - and is it essentially C&C style resource collection / base building? Are there any good guides online?

was in 6th place when i went to bed last night in copper division 148 , when i got in today i was in 9th place . just played 2 matches and won both , now in 3rd place in copper which is a first for me cause before the reset i was in 88th place lol

The reset isn't official yet by the way, these ones happening randomly are just part of the ongoing instability there seems to be with the EU database. I've had the same account right through from the reset that accompanied patch 6 until now.
i get it occasionally.. nothing major though, i jsut put it down to it being BETA ^^

You were zerg at top right? load of pap, i would have raped you with my mutas and hydras if they didnt all get splatted by stupid mines.
How the hell do you find and remove those stupid terran mines?

You don't it was a tank that blew up that unit that you thought was hit by a mine
And I was top left with an expansion top right. At the point you dropped I had 4 Mining bases (one of which was on High yeald), one expired mining base. and a large army coming at your base, with a bunch of re-enforcements being built.
I had more bases, a bigger army a larger economy and I was just about to hit your base (whilst you were out killing Mart) So your army was weakened at the time anyway.
Even if you survived my first hit you would not have managed a successful counter attack (even with your Mutas) as I had my bases reasonably well guarded, and was in the process of and able to reinforce my units much faster than you were.
