Nani about to play in RO8 GSL, let's see if his winning streak continues. I love the korean casters that do the pre-interviews "Naniwa has cut his hair short which in korea means they feel strength... or he lost his girlfriend" haha.

About to watch this as well. Going to be interesting to see if he can beat MVP, a very strong Terran.
 
MVP is suffering with wrist injury at the moment so he might not be in tip top shape.

He managed 3rd in a tourny in china recently, but was reportedly very unwell with some bug too.

Good news for Naniwa.

I really hope he pulls it back, within a month or two he's gone from being a god to hardly getting a mention in tournaments. Now all the limelight is on MKP, even though MVP used to dominate him. My conspiracy side wonders if the powers that be in korea prevent anyone from monopolising the scene, as nearly everyone that reaches godly status ends up going off the radar. Nestea, MVP, MMA etc...

Google GSL GOM and download the GOMPlayer, sign up on the site then it's pretty self explanatory to get it to show up on the GOMPlayer.

I highly doubt that's the case, Flash has dominated the BW scene for so long and has only lost a few times in like a 100 or so games.

Pros seem to tilt after a big win like MKP is now.

That's true. Maybe SC2 pro's are less disciplined and spend their money on alcohol and cheap whores :).

BW is definitely more serious than SC2. It's just a harder game overall and requires more practice.


Nani is out of the GSL, I think he's really nervous. MVP is just ******** on him.
 
MVP's calmness and confidence is immense, I get anxiety just playing in gold league and this guy wins tournaments looking like he's bored. Boss.
 
Just lost a game to a ****** cannon rusher ARGFGHHGHHGHGHIOASDFHJLASDKNJF:.

I lifted off and went to a different expo and macroed up, meanwhile he'd taken his natural and thrown up a few cannons around his base.... how is it fair that I don't lose anything to his cannon rush except 20sec mining time, but it still puts him ahead by a base with nothing I can do to punish him?! Protoss is such a gayass race it's unbelievable. The game went on for about 25 minutes but I ended up losing because storm is ******* OP as ****. Kamwah I take back every time I've ever disagreed with you.

I'm going back to my old approach of 1/1/1ing every TvP. ******* deserve it.

btw I've found that as long as the Toss has stopped worker production you can just worker rush him as soon as you see the blatant pylon that is too close to be a proxy one. It's 50/50.

A canon rush is the easiest defended cheese in existence, besides a 6 pool, the fact he managed to make you move your entire base (sorry, that is more than "20 seconds mining time" whichever way you swing it) means you failed miserably, he won as soon as you decided to "macro up" instead of just mashing him because he wouldn't have had an army worth a damn as a result of his canon rush.

I mean even Kamwah's crusade against storm is more realistic than whinging about a bloody canon rush of all things.

Actually if you don't mind I would love to see the replay of your game.

Yeah... I failed badly. Should have stayed in my base longer to make him invest in more cannons, then moved location. I couldn't go and kill him because he had cannons in his base. I can't send you the replay as I've just came back home and I played the game on my gaming PC at my uni flat.

Basically when I scouted the forge in his base I then realised I was being cannon rushed. I lifted off and went to my 3rd (on shakuras), and planned a push as soon as i had 1 tank with seige mode, and 1 medivac (for vision) as I knew i couldn't kill his cannons at his base with marines alone. The trouble is, by the time I hit he had a big enough army to defend (despite investing in cannons and also expoing). I tried a few drops as well but he was good at defending them.

I wasn't whinging about a cannon rush. If you'd paid attention you'd have noticed I said I lost later because of storm. We'd sniped each others' 3rds so it was 2 base vs 2base. In the big engagement, we were on equal upgrades (3/2). I was coming out on top, so I quickly flicked back to my base to throw down a CC. Quickly return to my army and.... oh. It's in the process of dissolving from 2 storms.

I definitely didn't play perfectly, but what I did took more skill than what he did. I'm high diamond as terran and I'm sure I could be in masters as protoss if I'd played them as much as I've played terran. Complete EZ mode race, at least below high master.

There's your problem, no point complaining that toss is imba when all you needed to do was scout your base and pay attention to the fight. Toss are not imba, you just tried a moving and failed, and your surprised?

Out of curiosity, what league and race do you play?

Like I said I didn't play perfectly. I'm sure if I'd handed control over to MKP he'd have wiped the floor with my opponent. But the guy I was against was a pretty bad player and played no better than I did. Anyone that cannon rushes is a complete douchebag. Have you heard of gaulzi? He's high master and all he does is cannon rush every game. His target is to make GM using no other strategies. Guess what league he was in before he started cannon rushing?
