Come back from the dead! Starcraft 2 Revive!


Well lately I've been winning nearly all my TvPs using Polt's 4rax build.
Been losing a lot of my TvTs which used to be my favourite matchup =/ Think I need to decide what style I want to play.
My TvZ is doing good, going mech every game now and push out when my third is up.

Just watching Redbull Battlegrounds atm and seeing Thorzain get raped by IMBA Storms from Sase XD

Well I can't guarantee the problem is the same for both of us, I just thought I would mention what happened to me when in a similar situation.

The main point I was going for was that SC2 is a very sensitive program to any kind of fault on your PC as far as corruption/memory/hdd's go, so it's worth trying a bunch of things.
 
kinda sad stephano never got though , not a massive fan of his but his games against MC were second to none , MC got some good plays with blink to get past him though . The guys is such a beast

Well Destiny is a juvenile racist/idiot if that's what you're referring to.

Stephano is an arrogant SoB who thinks just because he's the only non-korean in the top10 SC2 earnings list that he's something 'special'. I quote "I say congratz at the end of my games if they win because they must be good if they beat me"

I can't think of any others that I'd say I hate. I dislike Idra,Apollo,ROOTgaming and quite a few casters for various reasons.
 
vs marines, is it best to go mass zealots, stalkers or something else?

The number of times mass marines have destroyed my air and ground protoss forces is high
 
If you're going air in PvT you're doing it wrong XD unless you're void-ray all-in'ing.

Against mass marine it's probably best to have a normal composition. If you can't get this say due to him 6raxing you then aim to force field him in half when he comes in and have the zealots clean it up while he can't kite.

Stalkers can also kite marines but it's probably the hardest kiting you can do ingame.
 
Zealots with leg speed would help, combined with force fields as mentioned to cut him in half, take out that half and play it from there.

I started playing again, hadn't played since the 6th April before my exams, played my placement game against a gold player, somehow won and now I'm stuck in platinum again. I have no idea how since I macro so terribly D:

Thanks. What is kite??

I also find a few DT when thrown in with a mix of other units works well. By the time they realise there are DT slicing through their army, it is too late to scan

I need to use force fields and stalker blink a lot more than I do. PSI storm also worked well against a clump of marines last night.
 
Kiting is where you use the superior range and speed of a unit to attack it then run away so that the enemy can't attack back. Basically how a kite follows you when you're running XD

FFs and Storm are great vT.

Stalkers are something I dislike in PvT because Marauders just rape them.
 
Someone used stalker blink to 'kite' me yesterday.

We eventually won the game thanks to my team mate. It was me (rank 8 in bronze) with a gold league player against another gold and bronze. The opposition gold was good but his bronze team mate was rubbish. Me with the gold player ended up winning

You can really kite with any unit. You can have a stimmed marine kiting banelings off creep or a roach kiting several zealots.
