Was just coming on to say I had some nerd Rage in my last game.

I comprehensively beat a Toss player on Metopolis he tried a bit of everything (except Robo) and I was either ready for it or able to spot it in time to counter, hidden expos, DTs and VRs were all used.

As I said the Victory was comprehensive and once I saw the 5 Cannons and DTs guarding his main and an expo at the far end of the map I knew the game was in the bag. So I sent my lings up to the expo and dealt with it. Whilst taking my 3rd. I extended my creep to his front door Had a little skirmish, forgot my overseer, lost a few (but not many) units to his DTs sent up my overseer killed the DTs (just before they reached my 3rd expo) and then proceeded to tech up and get some Broodlords

I then walked through his pitiful army and into his base.

He quit saying

"GG ZWERG OP" <--- Typo included

So I promptly messaged him and pointed out almost every flaw in his game, and pointed him in the direction of HDStarcraft on Youtube and Day9Daily (on blip.tv)

He was utter rubbish tbh. His APM was only 22. I had out macroed him (obviously) the entire game and his micro was usless. His stalkers seemed to give up mid fight (I could swear he must have hit S)
 
Patch 15 and another full reset incoming.

In the near future, we will be doing another full reset of the beta database in order to test new changes. This reset will wipe the following information for all players:


* Character and identifier
* Friends list
* Profile
* League placement
* Ladder rank


Due to the amount of people currently participating in the beta, this database reset will allow us to monitor and test conditions similar to a game release (albeit smaller). We want to thank everyone for their patience and continued help and support in testing StarCraft II.

* Improved the system that handles initial placement and promotion/relegation between Leagues & Ladders.


Balance Changes


* TERRAN

o Hellion

+ Weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 1 (+1 Light) to 1.

o Reaper

+ Nitro Packs research cost decreased from 100/100 to 50/50.

o Siege Tank

+ Siege Mode damage decreased from 60 to 50.

o Thor

+ Anti-air weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 1 (+1 Light) to 1.

* ZERG

o Brood Lord

+ Weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 3 to 2.


Bug Fixes


* Resolved an issue with publishing maps in non-English locales.

Tanks were not weak lol.

They're nerfing mech because it was unbeatable vs Zerg. A Terran could turtle up completely, get 500 tanks and Zerg had literally nothing to stop it.

Watch qxc vs Sheth that happened the other day if you want to see this. Sheth had 12k minerals (he's one of the best Zerg's around too) because he couldn't break qxc whatsoever so to free up some he made about 30 ultralisks and ran them head first into the tanks, and did zero damage to them.

it's a very very very boring style of play, but it's arguably broken so people are starting to take advantage of it in TvZ.
