**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Not sure about when Phase 2 is due, but during a recent cast Huskystarcraft mentioned a Blue post in which it was stated that the aim was for Phase 2 to start no later than 2 weeks before the release date.

So, perhaps not imminent, but not too far away.
 
How do you know sales are falling?

And what does how good SC2 is have to do with SK keeping BW going for so many years? SC2 isn't bad at all, even the purists and BW pros don't think it is. It's just different to BW.
 
I think it will start this week hopefully on monday but more likely wednesday. If they have started putting the patches up then it might actually be monday!!!
 
My only guess would be the 13th, just from going on the only offical info we've had which was when phase one ended a blizz poster said it would come back a couple of weeks before release.

Sooner would have course be better though :)

I pre-ordered yesterday for £35 less 7% Quidco. I'll never order from a particular site in Jersey as they've messed me around a lot lately, including my pre-order of Mass Effect 2 which simply never turned up.

I looked at the Collectors Edition but £20 more for Starcraft and Brood War which I already have, the soundtrack I can likely find elsewhere, a comic I won't read, a WoW pet I won't use etc. is silly.
 
Only did my pre-order for this yesterday so paying the higher price of £35 but getting 7% cash back which isnt too bad. Will have few mp games with you all if you dont mind helping a noob out :P

(I suck at any rts online)
 
Ive been waiting for this for so long now that im not even bothered about it any more, not played beta or kept on eye on it for months it seems now.

Is it gonna look dated when its out now ? ?? :) Mind you there has not been a really good RTS for a long time now...

Watch in 1080p and see what you think of the graphics. The game itself looks a lot better obviously, it is on youtube. But it still gives a decent idea if you can ignore the pixelation on youtube.
