**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Have you registered your card for use abroad? Sometimes the banks have issues when you then try to use the card on a UK wesbite while you are still on holiday. Happened to me last summer.

Sorry I worded my original post pretty badly. I put in the pre order months ago, long before I was abroad, and was under the impression I'd already paid for the game. But while I have been abroad Game tried charging my credit card, which hasn't been used abroad at all, for SC2 (again?).

Just wondering if other people who pre ordered paid when they did the pre ordering or when it was shipped.

Retailers rarely charge your card when you make the pre-order. Usually only when it has been despatched. Game fall into this category.

I thought that might be the case, but was sure they had charged upon pre order because of the beta key situation - As in, otherwise people would just pre order, get a key and cancel, if they did it like that?

You would think that, but it never happens. MMO's often give beta keys with pre-orders, but for some reason still don't charge when you make the pre-order. I can see why you would think that, it would be the logical thing to do - especially when you consider how much some people pay for beta keys!

If anyone wants to add me, If I go online at all today, Im a feared opponent, went something like 0 wins in 20 games on the beta

Sorry to be a bit thick but what do you need these "free passes" for??

Also, since I'm new to Starcraft can someone give me an idea of how it will run on my rig?? (see sig)

Cheers,

the game coems with 2 guest passes that allow you to give it to some one and each one gives 7 hours play time of the game :)

Think my CE is coming tomorrow, so was going to download the game client and get it installed today or tomorrow morning so I can just play when it gets here. I checked Battle.net but under game clients it says I need to add my key first before I can download it... guessing there is no other way to get the game client so I can have it ready? (legally)
