**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Not read the whole thread, and SC2 would be my first Starcraft game that i'll have played; but do you have to pay a monthly subscription once you've paid £35ish for the game?

A nooby question no doubt :p
 
Well played 4 games online thought meh ill jump straight in sod it :D 2 games won 2 lost so not that bad better than i expected.

My god the Zerg are a wierd race but their so awesome too hehe =]
 
Starcraft hates me, I first recieve a copy from Tesco I need to return, only to get my credit card locked from fraud protection trying to order the us version on the battle.net site QQ

Says it should be sorted in 10 minutes, but loads of people saying site is bugged.... all this time, the box I need to return sits there in its cute plastic wrapping mocking me..... Damn you region locking 8(

I have noticed the same. But then, Blizzard have split "Starcraft 2" up into 3 games. Then the fact that a lot of the community think Battle.net will start charging for new maps and units. Plus the cash cow that is WoW.
 
It is also possible that these are beta/experienced players who are just getting through their first few games until they are ranked accordingly. A strategy/build does help though.
 
I wish I played more Protoss during beta, trying to get gold on the Psionic Assault challenge is quite frustrating, especially as I got to 223 (need 225) and now can't seem to get near that :mad:

Can see why some protoss players hate reapers now though :)
