Bronze league, he got a probe in my base straight away so i hadnt even gone to my ramp to start wall off. Built a couple of gateways and zealot rushed.

ahh yes, ive seen that happen a couple of times, as zerg i just wack down 3 spine crawlers. and then send my ligns to his main :)

I've got a replay, but did it on my friends PC, i'll get him to send it to me

For protoss its normally scouted that the opponant has nothing building in their base.. you react by just building gateways to counter it, save the chrono's and use them on your zealots. then use probes/zealots to out macro his rush.
just stall as much as you can using your probes but not using any/minimal.

Terran counter is quite easy, just a sinple bunker near your CC should be fine.
When i play TvP i tend to always build my supply and barracks in a way that i can fit a bunker inbetween them and my CC should i need to rush one out early game. Zealots don't stand a chance, just slow tech reapers and head for his nexus :D

I must say, it is the most annoying tactic ive seen, no skill at all really. thankfully i don't see it much. Mind you its an easy win providing you don't skip on the scouting.
 
You know what I love about this game, in nearly 200 games I've seen different tactics every single day I play. It's great.
 
Post some replays say a game you won and one where you felt you got out macroed and lost.

This is probably not the best advice, but truth is with Terran at this level you are better off sitting on one base. If he's expanding then maybe you're not pressuring him enough.

Vs protoss, the Protoss player simply cannot expand before the terran, or until he hurts the Terran. I'd master the 3 rax timing push and you'll 'win' most games against protoss and a lot against terrans. The gist is you build 2 tech lab raxes one fusion core rax and you build as many marauders and marines as you can. Once you have concussive shell and stim
researched you attack. While you are attacking have a command centre building.

This will just outright kill most Protoss players you face and contain terrans. When it's all over, no matter what happened in the fight you have an extra orbital command to mule with or fly to an expansion. You're ahead economically and usually militarily too.

It works against terrans too. Against Zerg mech lots of hellions and tanks and thors are pretty obnoxious. Harass while massing tanks when you push out to attack, build your command centre.

Generally with expansions when ever you win a battle or push out to make a big attack...expand. By the time the battle is over you'll have an expansion ready.

Just need to be more aggressive I guess....

Most of the games I've played against Terran and they seem to give me the biggest headache. Take last night, I countered the MMM rushes with ease but in one game, the OP changed unit order and went Tanks and Banshees; I held out but his tanks essentially whooped me! Zerg I find the easiest :)
 
lol I tried the workers rush TvT, beat him, good thing the guy took it as a joke even said gg

Just tried it only once after watching a video of this bullet proof tactic ;)

Is it TvT your having the most problem with?
 
TvP I'd say I win 50%
TvZ I'd say I win 60%
TvT I'd say I win 20%

I find TvT so hard.

TvP moar ghost, or just a couple to deal with HT and protoss shields
TvZ some moar Thors..in my opinion
TvT I hate it so much I try to end game early before tanks and vikings will endlessly roam the map.

Just played a zerg player who was av. 200 amp in the first few minutes of the match. and at 5:49 he had 700 minerals. he should have expanded long time ago.

What's the point of having such a huge amp when your macro is terrible >_<

At that exact time my apm 33(LOL) his 205 even bigger lol at the end I outmacored him.

But seriously, 205 apm and he is terrible? what does he do click on the ground continuously :rolleyes:

You will find a lot of people just click nothign and issue commands multiple times just to get higher APM. Its worth nothing unless you know the mechanics :D

he might have gone to sleep on the space bar or something? ^^
 
Yeah. I guess the only reason why is because the % of Tis greater than the other races.

I was initially getting owned by P but with a few little tweaks it's going well! Ghosts are probably the reason for that :)

Try this build out. you'll want to get used to this kind of opening once you move up the leagues. as thats what most of the other Terrans will be doing.

won approx 9/11 TvT's with this build.
one loss was due to me not macroing properly, the other was a 3 rax pure marauder build, which appears to be quite effective against this build. If he does go 3 rax marauder, take out a couple vikings and add more MM. keep the tanks.
failing that, go mass Banshee/Marine.

this build also allows you to expand fairly early :)

when i played him this guy was rank 1 in diamond, dunno where he is now.

I spam click at the start to get my hand speed up and get into a rhythm. Normally switching between scout and nexus, and selecting workers. Dunno if it helps, but it's habit now :)
