I am silver 38. I don't really care about winning or losing or whether a marauder with flame bolt add-on has 14 damage or 17 damage.
because I don't care I also quite often try funky tactics (my latest = incredibly early planetary fortress then mad economy with no military, all protected by fortress, then LEAPING up to Battle cruisers!! . actually worked a few times) so you may well get a win off me.

HaHa - I might attack with 15 queens then and transfuse you can repair with workers and see who falls first! I probably wont be on much this evening but hopefully a bit during the day over the weekend and definitely evenings next week.

Hey guys, Had the collectors Edition since launch but haven't had time to get any games in as I didn't want to jump in head first and get myself completely destroyed.
So as a new player to Starcraft, where should I start? just play the Single Player first, or get cracking with the Multiplayer and learn by my mistakes?

Its upto you really, either way at some point you should tackle the multiplayer, as its the main bulk of the game really.
However, the single player campaign is extreamly good.. i made a habbit of not playing any multiplayer games untill i complete single player ^^
EDIT: also if your totally new, its worth doing the single player just to get used to what each unit does!

I managed to get entered into the tournament finals, and immediately came up against PuReBall!
Played badly by my own standards, but i wouldnt have stood a chance at my best. Best 2 straight losses i ever had
I'm hoping they'll recover the replays at some point and post them.
EDIT: Oh and the Logitech G15 = terrible for starcraft

seconded on the G15.. its all about the HP Standard Keyboard! ^^
I did quite like the look of that Steelseries keyboard though that the Dutch bloke had next too me!
sjow beat lau for the win in the end. Tbh after seeing ZeroLLL (dutch bloke) play against PuReBall i thought he'd probably take the win, but he placed third in the end.
all cool! Yeah he was pretty good, and i want his keyboard, albeit totally huge!

Quick question for any Zerg or Terrans out there, what kind of unit composition would you recommend against a 200/200 blue flame-hellion/cannon-thor army? I have my own way of dealing with it but it ends up more of a fair trade, which is ok, but if anyone knows something that will roll it that'd be good.

Ultras... lots and lots and LOTS of ultras.. and infestors.. and anything else thrown in for good measure!
failing that just broodlord/Roach ?
If its a 200/200 trade off, Zerg should come out ontop should the economy still be flowing, they can replace much faster than Terran
In the main options menu i think that there is an option where you can assign keys, not tested myself though but i just recall seeing something like "hotkeys" from the menu.
