to be honest, at most Vista is only going to be a few frames down on XP..
I'd much rather play games on vista @68fps than XP @72fps..
There's very few games that would be unplayable on Vista, but perfectly playable on XP, so the performance difference is redundant imo.
The only reason people would be bothered about slightly worse performance is when playing Crysis, which no machine can play decently anyways
Ah well, it's from my personal experience, but every game I play is playable in Vista, and I'm not too bothered if I'd get a few frames more in XP when I wouldn't even *notice* the extra frames!
