OS PROBLEM ... PC WON'T BOOT to W7

Hello,

I had 2 partitions on HDD 1st partiton was VISTA and I insalled W7 on second!

As I found W7 better and no way going back to VISTA I formated 1t partition with Vista!

Since that PC won'tboot W7 and saying : BOOTMG IS MISSING something like that!

any help will be appreciated!

The Vista partition had the boot manager on it, when you deleted the vista partition you deleted that file which is required to start the OS. Put your Windows 7 disk in your PC and boot from it and carry out a repair install. That should sort it out and replace the missing files.

Try using the command prompt in the recovery options and do "bootrec /fixmbr" and then "bootrec /fixboot" (Without the quotes, of course).

Not my way it wont, much quicker and will actually work.

and after this, do I just close comand promt? and restart PC?

if you have two hdds you could be booting the wrong one.

Snake doctor & valo are right. It isn't anything to do with the boot order of the HDD, you have wiped the bootloader.

Either one of their suggestions should work. I personally use the command prompt but it makes no odds.
