Other hobbies?

That does seem to be the only thing you ever post about, do you not have anything else in life?

Also, who are you leaving this money to when you kick the bucket?

The smallest dogs always bark the loudest.

I’ve just gotten a new MTB and hoping to meet some people when I get out to trails/ riding. Having moved to England 18 months ago it’s been difficult making new friends. Figured getting back into a hobby will help. Hopefully.

Also thinking of getting an RC car again for a bit of weekend fun.

Very big into computers, building and tinkering.

Detailing the cars, servicing the cars and tinkering

Food

My animals

Sci-fi in all forms

Lego

One would imagine Lycra MTB shorts are out of the question if you suffer from the same condition as the chap you’ve taken as your forum name.

Oh, I’ve also gotten back into reading. Up to 13 books this year. Mostly started after I developed an iOS book tracking app due to not enjoying good reads. Published it too and the reading is a great feedback loop to improving the app.

Christ, if I wasn't already feeling down about my life I am after reading this thread. Some of you have really interesting hobbies.

I don't get as much enjoyment from games that I once used to.
I enjoy cycling but being such a time intensive hobby since having a child I don't get to spend as much time, certainly not guilt free time, doing it.

Maybe my hobby is being miserable :o :p

Dont worry your not the only one. I play games now that i know are amazing and my younger self back in the 90`s would have been blown away by but i just feel almost numb playing them lol.

Yeah, I get that! I also feel as I get older my yearly gaming season gets shorter. Basically I'm more into games from November-February then once that window is gone I have little interest!

I played some disc golf with friends a few weeks back and may go again as that was good fun

Main rock climbing, running, biking. The longboard is gathering dust and my interest in gaming seems to be fading. Maybe I should embrace gardening.

What type of Longboard land or surf? Man, I miss my Sector 9 Pin tail that I used to use for getting me to and from the skatepark. That thing on 70mm wheels used to cruise so effortlessly. - compared to the 50mm I'd have on my skateboard. My friend had a Sector 9, i think it was called a skywalker or something. That thing was huge wasn't ever a fan of it and preferred pintails but it was spectacular. Swear it couldn't have been far off of 5' lol.

Quite a few things keep me busy.

RC Tamiya models. I prefer the building to the driving.
Trance/progressive mixing and streaming. Need to get more into streaming.
Gardening.
Outdoor cooking.
Photography. Dabbling in astro-photography atm which is mostly just waiting for cloudness nights.
Hobby programming.
Reading sci-fi books.

I also look for deals on artisan coffee beans too and specialty coffee places around the country, I keep a google map of said places so I can go and have a decent coffee if I happen to be there.

I do this too. There are lots of pins in London on my map, and I make it to some of them occasionally. If I go for a work meeting in London I'll try and head to one or other
