Other User ?

OK cleaned out my sons PC...as it was a state and needed a good clean...all went lovely , That is until I tried to go to the desktop...as he has no password login never has had one either, there should have been no issues ...but the windows login window " Other User " is being displayed .. and as I've never seen that before I'm lost as to what to do ...if anyone could help I would be very grateful please ?

In C:\Users what other accounts are there? It just means at some point someone has logged on with another account and the logon screen now shows other user so that user can be entered.

As far as I know there are no other accounts , He is the only one who uses the PC

Click Start, type netplwiz
Untick "users must enter a password........."
Click OK
Leave passwords blank click "OK"

Hopefully that should sort it out.

OK so i left the PC off for while as it would not let me pass" Other User" login screen , and went back to see if i could do something with it....and it just went straight to the desktop as it always has done before , as it should do ...so I'm at a bit of a loss as to why I had this issue....but I'm gonna do some scans tomorrow

Scans for what exactly?
This just sounds like a config was changed during your last scans, and windows corrected itself when it noticed it was supposed to auto login.
There really is no need to trouble yourself with more scanning.

Well as I found some tool bars that shouldn't be there ...I will run some scans for any possible malware

Fair do's, I thought you had already finished with the scanning.
