I went to the Gym on Wednesday, And i did some pull ups, quite a lot, Felt really good afterwards. Woke up this morning.... And i cant straighten my arms properly. When bent they feel fine, But as soon as i try and straighten them, It hurts!! I can get to about a 10 degree angle before pain strikes!

I'm guessing i've strained the muscle. But i've never felt pain like it! I know that may seem sad. But it gets so bad, That i've actually had my arms bent nearly all day. I like kinda strange :D

Any quick fire solutions? A reformat wont work :P

Its just that its friday afternoon so i've no chance of getting into the doctots till monday :)
 
hhehhehehe i started goin to the gym last year... first morning after that i couldn't move my arms ... took about 2 days before i could bend them enough to put my coat on without wincing ;)

its goin to hurt for a while... maybe take a nice soothing bath ?

So you want some.... advice?... of a medical sort?
 
Warm up before excercise then warm down afterwards. Now all you can really do is wait, although I find hot baths tend to speed up the healing process.
 
Put mustard on the back of your elbows. The active ingredients should relax the tendons and ease the pain when straightening.
 
Slash at your skin on your 'old chap', then rub some raw chilli into the wounds, plus a little salt, vinegar and tabasco.

Hey presto! You will no longer be aware of any pains in your arms.

That makes me feel better, Means i've been working my ass off. Hopefully i'll have something to show for it after a few more months of going to the place :D

i had the muscle pain in both my legs a while back after some running damn did it hurt
 
tell u what is painful, pulling the muscles/tendons in ya wrists. Did it to both of mine and omfg i thought i had broken em ! In agony for 2 days
 
it pains to walk today. first leg session in years last night :D

you dont make muscle without breaking it.
 
Stretching after exercise severely reduces the effect. Pain is good, it means you've broken down muscle whilst training, so it will come back even stronger.
