why not? you dont need any feet on the pedals to keep it idling in 1st, although most cars idle inbetween 5-8mph in first (iirc) so a bit fast unless you have a low ratio box thingy

I can't do it in mine.....idle is about 2000rpm which makes for about 15mph in 1st.

Only put it on a couple clicks! Ive put mine on quite a lot once and it didnt stall.

I was driving the 1500SE through town and thinking "why is it not pulling well?", maybe just gunk in the fuelling system so I floored it only to find that it would only just about get to 60. Odd, I thought.

Sitting at the traffic lights once I reached town came the delicous waft of brake linings, coupled with some smoking drums.........

Then I realised I had the handbrake on! Proper sleepy morning
