• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Out of the game since 2011; help with adding a Gfx card to this system.

The key is going to be the PSU and looking at the pictures of the board and the back I don't think it's a standard ATX PSU. According to this thread on Tom's Hardware some versions are 12 volt only - you need to look inside and see if the main power connector is 16 pin or 20 pin. Hopefully it's the latter.

If you can upgrade the PSU, I'll echo @Tetras' recommendation of the RX 6600 and variants, maybe the 7600; if you cannot upgrade the PSU then I would not purchase a RX 6600 as you'll be stressing the PSU.

I'm typing on the standard version of this board right now and for Fujitsu the model number has to end in B, if the model number is A then it is usually intended for OEM use and is proprietary (there are a few exceptions).

A look inside will tell immediately. I last dealt with Fujitsu 25 years ago, back when they had taken over ICL and were still using the 'Fujitsu ICL' brand, so I'm well out of date.

Just took a quick picture of 20 pin input ?? Slowly learning I have absolutely no idea about modern built PC's
You can download the pinout of the (standard ATX) 20 pin, but without testing it idk how you would know if the wires are the same on the Fujitsu.

If upgrading the PSU is problematic then I believe that the gtx 1650 or rx6400 or some special rtx3050s are the fastest GPUs without external power. None of those are great options though as they are old tech.

Edit: sorry the 3050 6gb isn't actually available yet. A2000 is therefore technically the fastest GPU without power connector but you would be mad to pay that much.

I always enjoy these threads.

"Well, I got this PC from work..."

Not to be mean but it is quite funny seeing the mega old potatoe components and dodgy PSU's.
