Outlast OMG !!!!

It really isn't scary or the scariest game ever made. Far from it. In that style of game P.T was 1000x more tense

But some story driven games like silent hill will have you on the edge of the seat more.
 
The first half of it or so is fantastic - and scary. There are some good moments after that but once you've got a hang of everything the game design becomes too predictable.
 
Yeah, looks scary. I've got it from a bundle a while ago, but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to play it. Not keen on jump scares.
 
P.T. was way more disturbing. Too bad they cancelled it, it could've been the true return to form for Silent Hill.

Put on your headphones and watch a P.T. playthrough on YT, preferably at night:p

Nope they dropped it when they dropped kojima. The only way it will happen now is on Kojimas back. And his next game is slated by himself to be similar to the division.
 
Good game along with the dlc. I got it when it was free on PS+ so gladly paid for the dlc.

It's nothing original really but still a good indie game if you can pick it up in the Steam sale.
 
The look and style was good but after 45 minutes the scares became so predictable and for a 4hr game it felt soo padded out! 4 hours felt like 8 to me, a drag for sure

Try Soma or Amnesia instead imo
 
yea, i looked at a few more vids on youtube and started getting very annoyed with it.

the game has one massive fault and it's staring you in the eyes :eek: why is he STILL unarmed when he knows that Psychos are after him, because there's loads of stuff around that he could use as a weapon, why doesn't the IDIOT pick up a weapon

i then get annoyed and immediately think, this game is ****

no, any game like this wont work for me without me being armed in some way, because finding a length of pipe or wood is the 1st thing i'd do :cool:

something followed me whilst i was in the Black Forest in Germany when i was only 16 :eek: it's the oddest experience i've ever had, i knew exactly where it was and how far away, my friend noticed it too. the first thing i did was to pick up a 5ft length of branch, whatever it was followed us for about 3 miles, there was no way of seeing it because the trees around you are so tightly packed.

i love the idea of a really brilliant horror but it's so hard to get right in a game :cool:
 
Please someone close this thread because it reminds me just how extremely miffed I am about Silent Hills having been canned by those utter cocks at Konami:mad:
 
Scared the wits out of me, didn't get very far at all, keep meaning to go back to it but not sure I could take it.
