Overclock not working

Checklist:

FSB: 400
DRAM timings: Auto/ 5-5-5-18
memory multi: 2B (800MHz)
CPU multi: try 6, 7, 7.5
cpu vcore: 1.3V
DRAM Voltage: 1.8V, also try 1.9V

Take pics of the above before you save and reboot just so I can check it over please

Nothing is working ,

Tried everything you said and even set the CPU Multi to 6, 7 & 7.5 all fail to boot first time.

Also change the RAM volt to 1.9V and still failed

Just uploading the pictures now

I don't think that's your problem, as you're getting the message saying the overclock has failed and settings have been reverted. I think you're right about the board though. I think you'll have to try leaving everything as I've laid out in that checklist, and just upping the FSB from stock until you hit a wall.

In fact, try that: multi @7.5, DRAM @1.8V, timings on auto, Vcore at 1.3V, and just FSB @345

EDIT: you could always try checking your BIOS revision and installing the latest version just in case

Further edit: you could try loading defaults and then setting everything to what you had just to rule out some missed setting.

Hi mate just to let you know it worked at overclocking to 2.55GHz but now i cant seem to get anymore out of it again no matter what voltage i pick higher than 2.55GHz it fails to boot first time

Nope its set to 340, here is a picture of the seetings.

My DRAM Frequency has dropped to 340.0 MHz & FSB:DRAM has finally changed to 1:1

Sorry i just got back from work, il test it out now and post back to you in a minute

edit: Just tried it and it didnt work, tried booting 4 times and failed. I have a feeling it could be my PSU? I have ordered a new 700W PSU which should be arriving tomorrow or friday.

I'd be very surprised if it was your psu unless its a really cheap 320w. Push your vcore to 1.32v and see if she goes at that clock.

Well its a 450W PSU not sure which make it is though, probably a crappy one as i bought this computer off a forum as a guy was just selling all his old parts in one pc pritty much although the motherboard was only about 3 weeks old

I will push it to 1.32v but i doubt it will work, il get back to you

EDIT: Didnt work

At this stage, it's looking like your board just isn't up to the challenge. If I was gonna change anything I'd look for a cheap 2nd hand Asus P5Q, which are the dog's for overclocking. Or just enjoy your PC for a while and when you need to get more juice jump to a newer socket.
