Overclockable?!

Hey guys got my new system so I was wandering how easy is it to overclock an:

i7 930 @ stock 2.8ghz
GTX 560 Ti @ stock

4GHz on air easily

At least 4.0GHz, get it cranked up.

4ghz is practically a given on theese chips, just make sure you have good cooling.

I have 'Smart6' installed shall I just use that to overclock?

No m8, setting up Bios your self is far better more stable, etc, use google theres plenty of info on overclocking out there on the net.

What's a good temp to try and keep the cores at as at the moment at stock all 4 are between 40-50 while the system is idle after 5 hours of the system being on!

Idle temps don't matter so much (although those seem high!).
Download IntelBurn Test and run a 20 pass on maximum settings. Make sure you're monitoring your temps while doing this, ideally you don't want to go over about 75.
What cooler are you using? I suspect you're going to need a better one with your idle temps if everythings installed correctly.
