It really isn't, but it can be if you don't read the instructions... took me like 30 minutes to figure the clipping mechanism out hah :/

One thing I'd mention* is that it's an awesome product.
It comes with two different low noise adapters. I used two of the ultra low noise adapters and now I can barely hear the fan :) - keeps my i7 around 50c as well (which is quite warm but it doesn't go above 70c in games so it's fine for me)
