My case has good ventilation alright. It's an Akasa Eclipse 62 with forward and rear fans. On hotter days, I have a portable air-conditioner that I point at the front of the box.
On a slightly side note, and in terms of bang for buck - do you think that 2 x 275 (SLI) is better than 1 x 295 with this bundle? £354 for the 295 and £350 for the 2 x 275s.

HI - just thought I'd mention that I also had my eye on this bundle and thought it was a great idea. I have always wanted to get the best system and then push it but have not been the bravest it when comes to clocking. Problem solved with this - all the components look expertly chosen and are highly rated else where on the net.
I ordered on tuesday and am looking forward to getting the stuff.
I was hoping to ask about noise levels. To go with this I bought a BE QUIET power supply (1000w) and 2 samsung spinpoints to raid as OS drive and already have samsung spinpoint 1 tb for data. I have found the samsung drives whisper quiet and good performers. Also going into antec 900.
I gather the titan has the ability to be noisey when its stressed out but under normal load is it quite quiet or not really? I did have an OCZ 1000w and it sounded like a comms room!!!

just got back of night shift and my order has not been sent nor have i recieved any emails regarding a delay of any items my account just says In our warehouse queue,i have read above threads and i see you have to wait upto 48hrs for testing which is fair do but i think its a good idea to post this on the product page as its misleading to custmors that it can be dispatched next day(i choose friday instead of thursday as of work and im off friday ect i just thought i would mention that unless i have missed something ,so just wondering if you could possiable check to see if its ready,my problem is i go away for 3 days from monday and was hoping it would be here today 12/06/2009 hence why i choose this date.
if its not going to arrive today can i drive over to you today or saturday 13/06/2009 and collect it in person if so what do i need to bring,my wife brought these on her card would that be a problem as for id ect as she be possiably be at work,sorry for nagging i know you lot are busy

had a webnote saying it should be ok to collect it saturday 13/06/2009, can you confirm that my order is ready for collection and what time i can come to collect i will be traveling from nottingham,so about 1hr 20min drive,sorry to be a pain thought i ask and make sure before i travel

Hi thinking of ordering this bundle but first can you advise, are the pci & pcie slots well spaced on this board? reason for asking, I have a xfi elite pro soundcard (pci).Would this interfere with sli setup(space wise)? Does the bundle come with cables,connectors etc that are with say just the mobo?

RECIEVED - BUT QUESTIONS AND ISSUES
Hi got the bundle yesterday and after a while sorting things I got things up and running. However.....
1. The Heatsink would not go on the way it's supposed to i.e with the fan over the memory, blowing through the fins and out the exaust fan at the BACK of the case. The memory modules were just too high to let the fan attach properly to the fins.
What I ended up doing was moving it round so the fan was attached to the fins just above the "gigabyte" logo and therefore blow up through the fins and out the exaust fan at the TOP of the case.
Is that OK? or is that not acceptable for airflow - I hope so because there's no other way for me to do it. (Antec 900)
2. I now and faced with another issue I have read about in this forum and on the internet in general. Windows Vista will NOT resume from sleep with this board overclocked. I thought I'd better ask here first before messing about with bios settings and ruining the good work OC have done prepping this board.

i heard from overclockers support.. today acually , that you should not let the pc go into sleep mode as the overclock settings or something dont like it when goes into sleep mode ....i had the same issue today ...came up with E1 on the motherboard readout .
just make sure in power settings that you dont let it sleep

Personally I would go with the 295, just from a easier to connect and will use slightly less power. It is more down to personal preference than anything.
All sounds fine to me, the Fenrir is nice and quiet when it is not being pushed but once the temperatures start going up the fan comes into its own and begins to move some serious air.
They are as well spaced as they come, you will have to have a single slot card to run the PCI card as well.

.Ok, I went for it - I must be nuts! Order placed yesterday for the 295 with this bundle. I've already got a note to say that it's been dispatched though - could this possibly be correct? I thought it took a few days to test and overclock these babies?

Rich spends all his time making and shipping these bundles and has revised his bundle making process to improve output, he had to otherwise he would be sleeping on the technical department floor.
We allow 48 hours for building under normal cicumstances but like to ship same day where possible.
can you build us a similar bundle but using;
Kingston HyperX 6GB (3x2GB) Intel XMP DDR3 2000MHz CL8 Triple Channel (KHX16000D3ULT1K3/6GX)
and
Gigabyte GA-EX58-Extreme Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard.
I want to water cool (hence extreme board). What would the extra cost be. I would just want it set to 4.0ghz stable under testing as with this bundle.....
Is this possible??

Would make no difference at all to the performance of the 4.00GHz bundle, the best possible hardware configuration is already on the bundle and with the settings / target we have for the product it is not really possible to improve on it without massive cost increases for very small gains.
