Overclockers at the London International Technology Show

Thought there would be something on the forums about LITS! Just wanted to say I was there today, from 10am - 4pm. I must admit I was going beforehand and had no idea that you guys were going to be there, was a real suprise! Really enjoyed the event, some excellent stands as well. Overclockers stand was brilliant, looked really good and you guys running it were doing a really great job! There seemed to be a lot of interest in the overclockers stand! Picked my badge up and wore it all day with pride and even signed up for the other competition!

Every day has been massive, it has been great to meet lots of forum members, I was scared that I would offend people saying I never knew their forum name. But I have known everyone so far and even recognised some members by faces. :) good to see you all enjoying the event, makes me happy that you have all enjoyed our stand and event, especially when it is our first. :D hope to see more of you guys tomorrow, we have loadssss of photos taken and will upload them this week, unfortunately we have not had the time to do it during the event as it is so busy! I want to thank all those who have attended and taken part with overclockers and hope to see more of you lot tomorrow!! :)

Just off to bed now, setting off at 6am to be there for opening. See you tomorrow 5UB!

On a side note, i'm probably going to be doing a big order this week so any vouchers and the like that might help would be greatly appreciated. :D

Well you recognised me by face :)

not exactly difficult if youve been a forum member for more than a month :p

Oh yes, very witty :) On a side note, I would have to recommend both the items I bought from OCUK, the hyperx genesis grey 8gb kit and the corsair HS1 headset, both are fantastic value for money at the stand, especially the headset. 7.1 emulation for 32 quid? Incredible :)

After being very enthusiastic last week, I was really disappointed by LITS. Not OCUK's fault, but it felt like it was basically a show for retailers and didn't have many manufacturer stalls (apart from 3 or 4 stalls with RC Helecopters). Props to the guys from Gigabyte who had an extreme overclocking demonstration /w LN2 set-up and running, but apart from that there wasn't anything which made yesterday morning special for me.

Entrance cost was fine, but the train fare made it very expensive for the experience. Will probably avoid next year :(

i agree with you about the lack of stalls ,maybe i expected too much.luckily for me it only cost £5 to get in and a few quid for a travelcard but like you i won't go next year.not enough hardware/software on sale

It was good, booth babes were nice, eye candy award still goes to 5ub. Would like to have been able to buy things, seems a little odd i couldn't even get a mouse pad. I had a go at CSS in the gaming area, i dont think many people had played it before because i dropped a 30 on aztec while most were barely able to find their way around. The BF3 area was good, though i didn't want to spoil it for when i get the actual game. It was a nice afternoon out, i wish i could have walked away with something, Cherry sold my brother a wireless keyboard and mouse for £10 which was quite good. Hopefully next year there will be a main event or something to draw in the crowds.
