True true, and if you want to play around with pure numbers then that's fine. Personally though, if I was going to sell systems billed as the ultimate performance for the unlimited budgets then Intel wouldn't even get a look in since Zen 2 landed. I mean come on, who'd spend £10,000 or more on an X299 system when a Threadripper 3 obliterates it?To be fair here... the Intel chips show more headroom under sensible cooling, and bear in mind he is an overclocker.
If you're dropping this much money on a system you're in that "money is no object for ultimate performance" crowd, and you'd have to be ill-informed or a fanboi to even consider X299 over TRX40.
