OverClockers Twitchers' Thread

I've got three poles in the garden each with two squirrel proof seed feeders. I mainly use sunflower hearts because they seem to most popular across the different species. The feeders vary in popularity, the one near a fence is the most popular probably because it's the most sheltered and the birds feel safer. If I don't stock those feeders then they have to go the ones in the centre of the garden which are also under shade but slightly more open.

I really need to invest in a camera but I barely know how to use the camera on my iPhone properly let alone a proper digital camera but I'm still going to share my potato photos.

Saw a Cormorant sat at the top of a tree. Was hoping to get a picture of him drying his wings off but he didn't play along.

We’re out on the edge of a small village and surrounded by fields so we get all sorts out here. As well as the daily pitched battles between flocks of crows and gulls there are usually a few red kites about in summer, often see kestrel and jays, there are woodpecker about but we hear those more than see them and over the last few weeks there have been a pair of barn owls hunting along the hedgerows in daylight on a fairly frequent basis.

Last summer I was out in the back garden quite late looking for starlink and heard a noise behind me, turned around to find an owl had landed on the satellite dish only a few feet away. Flew off as soon as I noticed it mind.

Yeah, I've noticed the bird go crazy for these. We also give them quite a lot of chopped peanuts and general bird seed in the winter. Normally get it from Wilko as it seems to have the best prices for bird food.

Thanks, Sony A6500 and a Sony 200-600. I wouldn't normally use the A6500 but I thought I'd give it a try instead of cropping the A9.
The results were better than I expected but the AF of the A6500 was poor and I missed many shots, back to the A9 next time.
The light was poor and most of the shots were at ISO2000 so I gave Topaz Denoise AI a trial and I was very impressed so I bought it.
 
LOL I opened this thread assuming it was going to be about people streaming video games or something, some nice pictures though guys :)
 
For those of you that use binoculars what make and model do you use?

Are they all pretty much up to the job for looking at birds (ooh er) at about 30-50 feet while some are just much better than others. Or are some just really crap and pointless?
