Hey guys I’m really sorry about that, I was away this weekend and it totally slipped my mind my apologies, I’m free all day on Wednesday I can play any time
 
Second Semi Final just over an hour away. MMart94 and Uncle Petey are competing for that final spot.

MMart94 won the Semi Final against Uncle Petey in straight sets. The Undertaker music would have been very apt. :p

Uncle Petey just couldn't handle MMart's spin shots. Just like the previous Semi Final, the more experienced player won out.

Ale Bro, will you be able to play Saturday? Have already talked to Mmart and think that day is the best. Want to get the tournament finished before the World Cup starts.

Just before the Final I just want to thank you all for making this a great competition. It was played in a great spirit and I think everyone who played enjoyed themselves. Any game that I spectated was really good to watch. Some great table tennis and some great banter too. So Well done to everyone.

Final

Unfortunately only two players can compete in the Final and I think it's fair to say that the two best players made it through. MMart94 and Ale Bro will playing for the honour of becoming the first ever OCUK Eleven Table Tennis champion and to claim the prize Kindly donated by OCUK.

Prediction: Having spectated both players in the Semi Finals, it's really difficult to say who will win. Apart from some brief resistance both players eased past their Semi Final matchups. I do feel that Uncle Petey could have given MMart94 a better game but He completely psyched himself out of it. While Ale Bro was very dominant in his win over Borsch. Both players have put in a lot of hours into the game and it shows in their gameplay. But the question everyone is asking is who will take the prize? My prediction is MMart94. I believe they are both equally good in general game play but from the games I spectated MMart94 has the better serve and that gives him a very solid base to start from.

But, it's a Final and my predictions count for nothing. Either player could win, depends on who steps up under pressure. :cool:

It was fun and illuminating, still can't believe those spin shots are possible and still no idea what one is supposed to do when on the receiving end...
Hope somebody will record the final, it'll be interesting to see how the finalists will counter each other's spins :)
