I also browse late at night, sometimes early in the morning (2-3am) and honestly they're like treacle. Pages taking 30 seconds to load, IE says the page isnt responding. Same issue on ipad and on my phone as well.

Why are you using IE in the first place.

I've tried firefox (used to be good, now bloated and slow) and Chrome doesn't work properly with Sky Go which i watch a lot on my PC. i've had no problems with IE9 at all.

you must have also missed the bit where i said it was slow on iPad and my phone as well.
