Overclocking 7950

This is what the card looks like in my rig, dusty i know :p but my room is a dust magnet for some reason

Does the case have a side fan? That bottom fan is that intake or out?
 
Have you got a fan on the side panel? Or could you mount one somewhere to blow between the PCI card and your graphics card? Hot air is probably getting trapped there.

Also do you have any intake or exhaust fans on the case?

Edit: my eyelids appear to be malfunctioning, back soon :)

1 intake at the front, 1 at the bottom, 1 exhaust at back and 1 at top. i could mount a fan at the side as well
 
My card just blue screened at stock volts with 1000 on core and 1575 on mem, it said a Driver is causing instability issues so maybe its the drivers not the card
 
Just got a sapphire 7950 oc edition (950mhz) massively impressed I have come from a single 7970 (xfx) which only did 1050 core 1575 mem, this new beast is running perfect at 1250 core 1600 mem with 1.174v max temp ive seen 4 hours into bf3 was 75c it just seems to keep on going! Another massive bonus is its near silent operation under load compared to the hair dryer I had.
