Anything over 1.66v is considered a bad move (1.66v in the BIOS allowing for vdroop).

1.66v is fine, been running this for over a year now, qpi and vcore are the two most important voltages when clocking i7's.

Setter, what are you cooling yours with?

I've only just added this hardware to my A71F (not quite as neatly as the last install unfortunately

), and was just wondering about comparable temps.

Mine idles around 35c, and currently loads under prime at around 70c, with an Antec Kuhler.

Just passed 24 hours in prime, stays at 70c with 1.2875vcore. Thanks again guys for all the help.

Im using a prolimatech super mega with dual akasa viper fans, max temp of 76c with LinX, my cpu is a bit greedy and needs 1.300 vcore for 4ghz, 20x200, idle temps of 34-40c.
