Overwatch

I don't think they'd do it with transfer of an ult, but maybe just the nullifying?

Basically, by picking Sombra you would decide that each team only gets 5 ults (since yours has no appreciable effect), but your team knows which enemy hasn't got one.

Managed to complete the hard mode brawl last night! The key is the just sleep Reaper as he is coming out of the teleport, have McCree pull off his ult and nano boost him half way through. Makes it so much easier! Co-ordination is definitely the key to it.

That said, we had more difficulty pulling off the achievement for clearing normal without damage to the door!

Still not done hard. Tried in a group of 3 but couldn't find a 4th who wouldn't either immediately wake up sleeping folk or had trouble with English so couldn't coordinate. Will give it another go tomorrow I hope.

That would be utter gash.

having your ult built up and totally removed? Would never happen. You could effectively never let one person use an ult all game.

Sounds rather naff tbh... Lets hope it's not.

Aren't you bored of every single game unfolding almost exactly the same way?

Wait a minute or so for ults to build... then either Ana ult Rein or Reaper countered by another Ana ulted Rein and maybe every now and then a Zarya ult + wipe... Whichever team happened to execute this fairly low-skill but highly effective play slightly better wins... I'm not saying it is unbeatable because it isn't, but a lot of the time it works which is why it's everywhere

It's getting so predictable and boring at this point, I think a hero with the ability to shutdown or cancel an enemy ult would shake this up perfectly... It'd have to be balanced properly of course (i.e. not charge too fast) but absolutely it could shut one member of the enemy team out from their ult most of the game if done well enough - why not? Lucio + Zen's ults effectively cancel out an enemy ult as well just not directly...

Just started playing on "pc" (mac in bootcamp) and get a solid 50 fps (on low settings admittedly). Much better than the PS4 version I've been playing - its a shame I can't bring across all my loot that I've acquired though! :(

Better in which way? having a mouse and keyboard or generic gameplay?

PS4 is 60fps at 1080p and the equivalent of PC medium/high so it can't be the graphics or framerate.

^^ Agreed, maybe it's half term?

Had the funniest game last night... Dorado starting out on defense - I've been really trying to brush up on Mcree especially with the brawl and felt confident enough now to pick him... Their team came out of the gate super co-ordinated compared to us and we got completely melted... Naturally several on the team immediately put the blame on me - I pointed out that although I didn't do well neither did anyone; we were just all over the place and horribly bad as a team; but of course they just gave me abuse...

Shameful as it is to admit it really got to me and I briefly selected Torbjorn in the warm-up for our attack... But before the countdown finished I partially came to my senses and decided instead to go with Hanzo for the first time I ever played him in a full game, at least it's not quite as obvious a troll-pick as Torb on attack... I have no idea what happened though (my anger made me strong? /palpatine) but I went absolutely huge as Hanzo, about 45-6 in the end; with people calling out that our team got carried :p

Was quite satisfying and I think it made me kind of "get" how Hanzo is supposed to work... but I still don't see myself playing him regularly (who knows though)

Its literally down to the use of a keyboard and mouse that makes it better as I've never really connected with using a controller for FPS. Having said that, I think my skill level is below those around me on PC where as I on PS4 I felt my skill was more on par with others of the same skill level. I've not played a PC FPS for a long time so putting it down to me being a bit rusty :p

Been on a great run - won 11 out of last 12 games, up from 2000 to 2350 over last couple of days.

Since then, lost 5 in a row.......................back to 2150

So streaky this game!

i went on a massive losing streak yesterday. Dropped from nearly 52% W percentage to 48%. Lost about 250 SR and was consistently matching with people who where some of the worst players I've ever come across in ranked. And they were always on my team while the enemy team seemed much more competent.

A really frustrating day overall.
