Overwatch

Yeah I had horrible placement games with quitters at every corner. The few games I won we were against quitters and then lost most of thwhich games with team mates who really didn't look like they understood at the game.

Managed to climb from 37 to 50 which was a chore. I'm going to make sure I take placement much more seriously next season.

Based on this season, I'd say that playing as a pair or three gives you the best chance of decent placement matches (unless you know you have a good team of more). 6 'decent' players against a proper 6-man team will get ruined, but at 2- and 3-queue you can have a good amount of influence without picking up the semi-pro groups.
 
Just an an absolutely epic war against a Genji with me playing Mccree. We ran into each other on the futuristic control point map on one of the side balconies. He tried hopping me down, I managed to roll just in time. Flashed but he double jumped behind me. Started shooting but he used deflect. Came at me again but I had my roll back. Low on health but managed to get to the health pack in the middle of our little war. This fight literally went on for over a minute - my team had pretty much capped the point so Genji had to try and save the round but we won. We were both lolling in chat. This game is brilliant!
 
I'm a pretty casual player, but getting more and more into it - such an amazing game!

Primarily playing D.Va, but getting into Zenyatta at the moment too.

I don't have anyone to play with, so if you fancy some games add me - Vhaegar#2620

(not played anything other than random queued games so far!)

Why do you think quick play is full of Hanzo suddenly? :D

Now imagine a person comp rank 80, played Hanzo only pretty much since the beta, playing Hanzo on PTR = Crazy.

Saw this for the first time yesterday and thought it was beautiful. Blizzard and that company that actually created the video really did an amazing job. I love that birdie and those flashbacks were really well done.

3000 -3500 is diamond yea so guess 3255 is around 65

Playing as zen/lucio/ana on ptr and tank if needed..

Haven't played as any dps char on ptr yet
 
Bumped into Kreeee on a server last night, funnily enough as I was grouped with Jock and TeknoJunkie (I say funny as it's the first time in weeks I've grouped with anyone from OCUK)

If you see someone on your playlist playing, can you join that game without grouping with them? I assume so, as I think Techno joined us during play too...

Yeah you can just do a right click thing and join game, that's what I did, saw Jock was in a game ending and just joined the game, then he invited me to the group and I just joined and stayed in the game, all very seamless, very nice, bonus that you were in there to.

A couple of good rounds last night, I'm loving this game :D

In other news, does Mei really need a buff outside of what she's getting in the next big patch? I understand that Blizzard wants every character to be a viable pick in competitive, but I don't really see what's wrong with her when you know the maps and more importantly, how to best utilise her abilities within them. I mean, she doesn't seem to have THAT many hard counters when compared to other characters and she has a lot of utility.

What's your battle.net name mate, I don't see it on the list. If we ask Andy nicely he'll get it up there and I'm sure some of us will get you added and get some games in.
