Has this too! We simply spawned in the attackers base and wen the Game started we couldn't leave, and the enemy started randomly appearing in the base too! Ha. They could kill us but we couldn't attack then, then when we did we spawned in the correct place.

Quite funny but they really messed up Adobe stuff with the latest patch. Matchmaking and game order to merge a couple. Capture the flag really sucks
 
That does sound a little messed up!

I played just two quick games of CTF yesterday and really enjoyed them. CTF is a tried and tested gametype, you almost wonder why it's not in there as a normal game mode.
 
Waiting to see if the ever add singles matchmaking and remove this stupid instanced involuntary grouping mechanism they have added to search to make it faster. I don't want to play with the same people, I want to play with other solo queuers around the same level as me.

There is no excuse I should play with or against GM's and then next game play with or against bronze low levels. Quickly getting tiring and dull.

capture the rooster is good fun but god it's annoying in terms of joining games!!

I must have joined 6/7 games in the last 15 mins - all of which were in play and the team I joined lost almost instantly within 30 seconds of joining.

It's ridiculous. So silly. Surely group queing players together and start a new game.....don't throw them into random games that are all but done.

On competitive if you search on your own you play with others that searched on their own and they all the same rank.

I guess i don't understand what you're getting at?

No you don't. I usually solo queue and often get added to a 5-stack as their 6th man. An it's not all the same rank - the average rank of each team is usually within ~100 of each other, but within a team you can have a range of ~500 rank points easily.

Get up to Master and you can't be paired with anyone below 500 points. In diamond it is indeed easy to go into a group of a 3900+2200 etc.
 
Had some amazing competitive games last night, solo-Q, ended up with 5 others all solo as well. Straight off the bat we just gelled, steamrolled the first game; I'm pretty sure no-one on our team died at any point.

After the game everyone hit the 'Stay as group button' and we went on to flatten 5 more teams in straight wins. They weren't even 'close' wins, we just demolished team after team.

Had 2 PoTG as well, one with a quad kill D.Va nuke, and a glorious quintuple kill Zarya graviton that netted us a team kill and a win on Volskya in around 1min 30 :D

I've never had this happen before, usually I get a couple hard earned wins before a draw/loss. Not last night, it was just savage.

Team comp for most of the rounds consisted of:

Me: Zarya/D.Va
Rando1: Mercy
Rando2: Rein
Rando3: Soldier 76
Rando4: Ana/Lucio
Rando5: Tracer

No doubt back to losing SR again tonight, but great while it lasted :D

Honestly I'm just thinking of turning chat off at this point. I just don't understand this toxic subculture in Gold Tier at all.

You have so little time to discuss tactics/ pick heroes its infuriating that people waste the time.

The two worst examples are;

  • Team members reporting + blocking you when you are winning
  • Team members waiting until the last second to pick a hero and then complaining about team composition as we run out the door

I try and use voice, unless it appears no-one can hear me, then of course I don't bother.

In comp you have a better chance of people using it I find.

lol no I do use voice... normally I'm in teamspeak or whatever with the others I play with anyway so it's not such an issue, but I do try to talk even when playing solo; often to what feels like no-one

Funnily enough I think the American server is a fair bit more chatty than EU, might just be my imagination
