the p12 MAX dose it really run almore 2x the speed and put out 40% more AIR for the same max DB???
i was looking to pick up a few p12's for a rad when i noticed the MAX, the specs look good if there true

The P12 Max is a different design plus they have anti vibration pads. Look closely at the end of the blades.

yes ive seen that, but my question is it claims the same DB at max speed that 1800RPM vs 3300RPM.
p12 - Volume: 23.5 dB
p12m - Volume: 23.5 dB

p12 - Airflow: 95.65 m³ / h
p12m - Airflow: 137.69 m³/h

I was about to buy 6 p12's but now i thing im buying p12m's

To be honest most of the fan manufacturers claims can be taken with a pinch of salt and the only way to see how any of them really perform is by proper fan reviews (if there are any). I could be wrong but I believe Noiseblocker were the first to come out with that design of fan blades with their NB-Eloop fans and they performed better and were quieter than their standard fans. I would buy the P12M as that fan blade design usually make excellent radiator fans.

Still got 3 of the original noise blocker eloops
If £10 was cheap back in the day
The new version is £17
Which isn't too bad though still expensive if compared
To those Artic fans
Though must admit the eloops do look more substantial/solid

I ordered the last two p12m’s, I’m hoping there hear for a rebuild at the weekend.

I wanted 6 more for an external rad im running but I can add them latter

So yer I can confirm they are that good…

I’ve just fitted them and locked at 50% just to see how they got on, my boy as been gaming an hour and.

Gpu would game at 55c now 47c
The cpu… would be 71to85 right now it’s sitting at 55c

At 50% the noise I would say it just under my phanteks at full speed. But the cooling difference is massive.

And I have only changed 2 fans.. I’m waiting for 6 more to come so I can add a silent 360mm desk rad to the system

Still very impressed that my 11+ year old gentle typhoons still keeps up with the best after all these years.
Great fans! Hard to find now and quite expensive as well. Seems Nidec Servo came out with D1225C back in about 2000, then teamed up with Scythe in about 2008 calling them Gentle Typhoon. Think it was D1225C12B5AP which is 1850rpm variable speed. There are 6 speed ranges from 1450rpm to 4500rpm but most were 1450rpm, 1850rpm and 2150rpm. I think all were / are available variable voltage with 2150rpm also available PWM. Nidec Servo still make them. Can usually find them with a little searching.

My system was under volted, and under clocked and still run hot. I blamed everything but did think about the fans.

I only changed 2 that’s all ocuk had in stock at the time now my system is over clock and runs so much cooler.

My gpu ideas at 28c my cpu at 32
I’ve never seen the cpu below 40.

I have another 3 in the post and I’m hoping the release a 140mm model

Do they have buzzing at low RPM like some of the reviews say? I'm wondering if they got faulty fans or if it's because of the dual ball bearings.
