The review i saw said the max version of the fan gets rid of the low rev buzz that the non max version had ??Do they have buzzing at low RPM like some of the reviews say? I'm wondering if they got faulty fans or if it's because of the dual ball bearings.
The non max had a hum/whine at certain RPM ranges but was completely silent at low RPM, though it was supposed to be fixed in the ARGB version. The max version doesn't have that at specific RPM ranges, but supposedly has a buzzing sound at low RPM from the dual ball bearings when it doesn't get drowned out from normal fan noise at higher speed. The review i saw said the max version of the fan gets rid of the low rev buzz that the non max version had ??

I bought a couple of them based on your experience that they are all silent at low RPM. Unfortunately both of them have a loud high pitched buzzing sound at low RPM, this isn't my video but they sound like this.Yes, i can confirm 2 on my 6 fans do grind/whine.
when you have the fans set at low RPM there silent but when the speed picks up they grind until the speed increase stops. this is only upto about 35%
i have the fans fixed at 15% and i will keep them but yer 2 of my 6 do grind
Maybe because it's high pitched some people hear it or are bothered by it more than others. My fans are off till 55c on the cpu then fixed at 15% I have no buzz, it’s just when that spin up it’s like a grind. Then Silent
Must be serious quality control issues then and all of yours came from a good batch, but there's a good reason these are only rated 4 stars on Amazon. My D5 give me headache lol I can hear high pitch
