Pain... I've learnt about pain

Several years ago I broke my back.
I thought this was the tike I found out about my limits with pain.

Untill the last 48 hours.

I had hemmaroidal tissue reduction surgery, along with other bigger bits in the same region.
The hours after the procedure were reasonable.

But last night, wow.

I had to "expel" the gauze that was left internally as is expected.

But the build up to this was worse than when I broke my back. The agonising pain and pressure was something I wish never to repeat. My wife was terrified due to my wailing as it was happening. I thought my insides were ripping apart and trying to escape like an Alien chest burster, but trying to evacuate from my bowels.

As soon as it happened the torrent of black liquid that followed was like a volcano erupted from within, covering the toilet and myself. Collapsed on the floor I felt relief. But then the burning started. As if I had rubbed a ghost chilli upon my anus.

Every time I empty my bowels since (about once and hour), is like chillies expelling themselves in search for a better life.

I have to take seriously strong laxatives to ensure damage to the bowl is reduced. Causing stomach acid to ensure its way to the back passage.

I'm unsure how to go on. How muchonger will this pain continue? Internet says weeks.
I can't do it...although I must.

:(

Peeing after having kidney stones lasered.. Stings a tad too
Like peeing shards of molton Lava.

Having UC I can sympathise with the acid burning pain..

The worst kind of pain is the pain that almost makes you pass out but isn't quite enough for you to actually pass out (pass out and the pain goes away)

I've had this once with the dentist drilling into my nerve where the anaesthetic hadn't quite worked and just last Sunday with a really bad stomach and vomiting which rendered me in hospital for 4 days (inflammation in my gut, could be IBD or not, Docs don't know yet)

I imagine butt related pain is quite terrible too due it being a sensitive and nervy region, especially having to take a dump after having an operation there

I once had a dump,in doing so I managed to trap some large nerve at the bottom of the spine region.

Couldn't walk or move or breath without unbelievable pain, ended up passing out as a result after spending 30 minutes walking from the bathroom to the bed,our lass was laughing until I passed out...

I have a little panic from time to time when I take a dump or even sit on a toilet.

Anywho fingers crossed for you fella.

Most pain I had was a kidney or urinary infection. Was crippled for days till I got to the doc to get antibiotics. Literally sweating like you couldn't imagine, head pounding like you couldn't imagine and every part of you aching with pain. All you could do was lie for days and try and take each second.

Nasty stuff pain.

My whole life I've always been fine with pain, no pain was enough to make me stop what I was doing.

When I slipped my discs I was on meds which had a side effect of hardening my stool, also gave me hemorrhoids which tore every **** I took.

Trying to pass through a head sized boulder out of what is essentially an open wound is one of the most excruciating things I've ever felt and you have my empathy! I'm also Punjabi so spice is my life, that sting though.... :( Worse than ******* out these razor like micro kidney stones.
