I'm getting by.How are you doing. Has anything helped?
Are you taking strong painkillers?
Did they not advise you how long until you are healed?
I'm getting by.
I'm using germaloids after a bowl movement to numb the area. Doesn't always work but it's something.
Unfortunately due to a side effect of the procedure.. I can leak a little which adds more burning. Sigh.
It's just keeping on top of it; it's mentally draining.
Painkillers help a little.
My GP said ill most likely feel like I need to make a bowl movement frequently even though I don't. Caused by the swelling. It's also painful. This can last for 3 weeks, or more.
The burning will die down after 2 weeks but that also depends on how well I care for the area, my diet and how many bowl moments per day.
I'm currently down to 3 per day.
Unfortunately it's roughly 2 hours to have a movement and then after care before I'm able to relex again. Then it happens all again a few hours later.
But its definitely a lot more bareable than this time last week.
I've been basically bed ridden for 8 days. Which has caused me to loose over a stone now. Also I get dizzy quickly when standing and doing things.
Small steps.
By the way, I'm sure people here think I'm over sharing. I don't care, it helps me process it.
My wife and I have discussed poo more this past week than we have ever done in out 15 years relationship heh.
Thanks dude.I strongly suggest that you should do intermittent fasting.
Skip breakfast and lunch and just hve dinner only same time every night.
That way you only need one laxative per day after dinner and then you should only have one movement a day.
It's going to help it heal quicker and be less painful so a win win.
Just drink water for the rest of the day and plenty of it. You can go a month without food so 1 meal per day normal sized is more than do able.
It's best you share then you can be given the best advice for your situation.
Get well soon.
Oh I ended up ordering a juicer as I was curious and I always liked fresh orange juice, sugar cane juice and carrot juice in India.
I also make my own oat milk and the machine I ordered does this.
Dairy is really bad for the majority of people so I've not had dairy in years. I think you may also need to think about what food causes you issues and pay more attention to your diet.
The juicer I ordered is the Hurom H100. £350 but for oat milk alone I reckon I'll have my money back within 2 years and it comes with a 10 year warranty so it pays for itself.
Thanks dude.
I'll start that fasting thing tomorrow.
I have been looking into juicers until my wife told me we actually have one *face palm*.
I do have plenty of Huel food replacement powder left, used to drink it at work as no time for a real lunch. I'll break out a small portion as a middle "meal" before dinner.
It should also help as it contains a massive amount of fiber.
I've also taken a liking to various veg that I never normally liked. Probably helps that my wife is making me food and is "forcing" me to eat the veg lol.
