That's the ideal way.... But unfortunately not the same for everyone. So do people just sit on the toilet constantly pushing despite there being nothing to come out or what. I go in , sit down ,push a bit, wipe, wash hands and get out asap.

I use a stool to get into a squatting positionI'm going to be approaching my next dump in a very tentative fashion after reading this thread!
Just had a listen. Very apt indeed. How was this not posted sooner!!??
https://youtu.be/YbYWhdLO43QPooping...I've learnt about pooping today.
Time to invest in a stool and a stopwatch.
It's funny.Yep that makes a lot of sense, can't believe it's taken me 34 years to realise this.
Interesting approach. Also people who have never suffered hemorrhoids are so damn lucky.
I know it's an awkward topic but it really is something i'd not wish upon my worst enemy.... I had them really bad at one point in time. Not sure why. But effectively going to the toilet just re-aggravates them...
What I did was get a syringe and squirt olive oil up my ass. People can make a face/make fun of me sat at their pc im fine with that but by god did it work so well.... did it for a couple weeks 30 mins before going and problem resolved itself. Laxatives didn't help one bit.
The first poo on Thursday was cold sweat on floor in shock. Was on painkillers and antibiotics for laceration and stitches but passed dark blood.
There’s pain, then pain on pain killers then there is shock - when it all goes cold and you have to be kept warm, your shaking uncontrollably.. the pain doesn’t register.
Having a op to clear the urethra of scar tissue to have a camera passed up.. Was child’s play (even bleeding an inch of coagulated blood into the absorbent undies) didn’t put me into shock like that before.
Hospital was nice.I really hope your condition improves.
How was your stay in hospital? The nurses deserve a paid for mansion each.
Dude. For me it was when both my lungs collapsed at the same time (approximately 25% deflation) which caused a pneumothorax and air gathered around my neck and heart. It happened on a Saturday and I was finally admitted to hospital on the Monday after being repeatedly sent away from AE with bronchitis.
I was living at home at the time and my mum called our gp because barring the several trips to AE I hadn't been able to talk, move or sleep for 48 hours. When he arrived he went mental with the olds for not taking me to hospital lol. When it was explained we'd been about four times he wrote a letter and told to to go back and hand them it. I've honestly never seen a triage nurse move so fast, I was admitted within an hour transferred to the friarage hospital in Northallerton where I spent 5 days on a drip and nill by mouth (for some reason they thought I'd ruptured my asophagus).
The initial pain was insane but it was made considerably worse by the fact I could barely breathe and I would run out of air mid sentence. By the time I was in hospital I couldn't move my head due to the air that was in my neck and chest pain from it around my heart.
Thanks for that.
So, smoothies made from veg?Considered juicing for a while, until everything down there heals and can be used without the searing pain? Talking about a proper juicing of veg diet, not just cracking on with a crate of Innocent smoothie for a week.
After a 90 minute nearly passing out loo session a couple of years back (rubbish diet and long working hours) I tried it and it was a revelation.
Edit: I say this as someone who is a proper meat eating carnivore not some mad vegan monk![]()
Juice and smoothies are different
Huh?Hmmmm, disappointed, I thought this was going to be a French bread tutorial.
I've eaten a manyhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pain_au_chocolat quite tasty if you're cultured enough to give it a go
I'm getting by.How are you doing. Has anything helped?
Are you taking strong painkillers?
Did they not advise you how long until you are healed?
Thanks dude.I strongly suggest that you should do intermittent fasting.
Skip breakfast and lunch and just hve dinner only same time every night.
That way you only need one laxative per day after dinner and then you should only have one movement a day.
It's going to help it heal quicker and be less painful so a win win.
Just drink water for the rest of the day and plenty of it. You can go a month without food so 1 meal per day normal sized is more than do able.
It's best you share then you can be given the best advice for your situation.
Get well soon.
Oh I ended up ordering a juicer as I was curious and I always liked fresh orange juice, sugar cane juice and carrot juice in India.
I also make my own oat milk and the machine I ordered does this.
Dairy is really bad for the majority of people so I've not had dairy in years. I think you may also need to think about what food causes you issues and pay more attention to your diet.
The juicer I ordered is the Hurom H100. £350 but for oat milk alone I reckon I'll have my money back within 2 years and it comes with a 10 year warranty so it pays for itself.
