Panasonic 2010 range.

Insane

Hi, can you get us a link for a PDF to the new catalogue?

The VT20 seems the best value 3D screen yet and even not taking the 3D into account by all means and purposes it looks to be a possible contender for one of the best displays expected this year.

not that i can see.

some new features on the viera cast side though are.

Ace trax - for streaming movies directly to your tv.

Daily motion - for news music sports ans comedy.

Qtom - for interactive music television.

Skype - for phone calls, with optional hd camera for video calls.

Twitter.

Just noticed on my V10 that the Viera Cast menu has changed, guessing it's to accomodate the new stuff coming.

I'm getting excited by these new plasmas, my old Pioneer is getting a bit long in the tooth now. Not convinced with the idea of 3D but would like to see a properly setup G20/V20/VT20 array side by side to do a proper comparison :)

if you ever manage to find somwhere that has this, or that can even set up ONE screen properly... pm me and let me know lol.

the shops around here are aweful! I would simply base any purchase on reviews alone, as a viewing in a shop usually tells me nothing

weve received 2 txp-42x20s today, havent had time to set one up yet, and have to find space to put it aswell, we also had the new blu ray players and lots of headphones :o .

To be fair, are they particularly higher than last years? At launch RRP ofcourse. They do seem high compared to how cheap you can pick up last years model NOW.

At least there's not a ridiculous premium for 3D, its only £100-200 more, of that 50% or so must be the cost of the pair of glasses. Just need the tech to filter down to the entry/mid level sets.

thats the point I wouldnt mind paying £3000 for a non 3d version of the 65" (well I would mind a lot hahaha, but it would be a reasonable price at launch) but Im not paying an extra £1000 for something I dont want, dont think it works particularly well at the moment and have no interest in at all until its a lot better developed (and without having to wear particular glasses)

I believe the 60" Kuro was around £3000 at launch - I picked up a 5090 for £2000 before they were widely available

Today we recieved our 37d25 leds, which look lovely and for a led the sound is great, they are a bit slow on channel change though.

We also had some s20's which tbh are crap, such a dissapointment over the s10, they have poor veiwing angles, terrible sound, and quite poor sd picture quallity.

The new entry level BLu-Ray home cinema is also crap, with really low volume and rubbish looking speakers compared to last years range.

So far the new pan range is quite lacking, looks cheap unless you buy high end, i can say that i prefer the new samsung stuff so far

Edit, We also have the 50vt20 3d plasma, but have no room for it, gutting as i really want to get it running.

Having seen the 50VT20 up at a few places now it's oh so tempting to go get a good demo and actually consider buying one - if only for the 2D picture quality - the wait for the 50V20 is going to be too long!

Plus the fact that at £2020 for the 50VT20 it's pretty tempting! You only live once :D

/must hold out

Soo want to go see one in action now - will have to keep an eye on the demo thread over at avforums!

I wouldn't be using the 3D aspect - it's more about the top notch 2D performance!
