Other owners of Panasonic microwaves may care. Microwave radiation leaks can cause cataracts.

Don't see any harm in being concerned about stuff like this - aslong as your somewhat rational about it.

I'd not be at all suprised if consumer off the shelf kits for testing stuff like this though have a fair margin of error and/or you aren't testing under the same conditions as is used for qualification testing. Its quite possible in the lab its within spec for the regulations.

This concerns my slightly, I'm more concerned about the level of radiation inside one though, anything I seem to put in one seems to start boiling and gets really hot
