Pancake Serving Suggestions

American pancakes I had in a pancake cafe in scotland last year.

An inch thick, each one as wide as a dinner plate, stacked 4 pancakes high with butter, syrup and ice cream.

I'd never been beaten by a meal, until I had that, I only managed to eat 2 and a 1/4.

When the pancake is half cooked, i put slices of banana all over the pancake, continue to cook, plate up.
Then LOTS of either maple or normal syrup.

Been and got 4 boxes of batter mix today and 2 lemons today. Mate has nutella. Going to enjoy chowing a few down after some spicy jalapeno chicken fajitas

Strawberries and Kiwi's finely chopped with a sprinkling of sugar added once you've flipped once, then fold in half and turn a couple of times. Then straight off the pan onto plate with a dollop of vanilla ice cream on top and chocolate sauce if you like.

Or another one that is really nice, and non-standard: grapes and nectarines and peaches all finely chopped and use the same process as above but skip the chocolate sauce.

:D

Now I'm craving pancakes, i didn't know it was Pancake day .

I used to have pancakes for breakfast all the time when i was younger. I just sprinkle them with a bit of sugar and wrap them up. Don't like lemon on them. Maple syrup is also nice.

American pancakes with maple syrup... mmmmmm.

Are these different to the UK ones?
