Pandora Bracelet

You know it is funny really, the precious metals are only precious because they were shiny and looked good.

Is that any better than what's occurring here?

Plenty of people buy tvs based on the external aesthetics, even if the actual screen quality is worse than the more plane or chunkier bezeled competitors.

People seem to be missing the point of the charm...BRACELET. Its not the individual charm that makes it personalised, rather it's the charms that make it personalised. Plural!

A bracelet with a dozen charms chosen by the person, or given to the person by someone that knows them IS UNIQUE.

My mother has one, She has about 30 charms. I'm pretty sure that bracelet is more unique than a lot of jewelry out there. Considering the combinations available

Surely the idea behind charm bracelets is meaningful, personal charms, and resale value isn't a concern. It's not an investment.

That's why it seems like such a farce - putting aside the blatant tackiness of it - its just going to lead to yet another unoriginal gifts every time she has a special occasion to celebrate. Sort of an expensive version of the 'make your own jewelry' type kits my younger sister had when she was about 12....

I just can't imagine what sort of girls would be impressed by receiving a new bit of metal to stick on their 'special' bracelet. Easy to please though I guess...

This is my skanky chav wife with her scabby bracelet on, i need to find myself a real woman after reading this thread

Wow you can see how differently men and women think on here! :p

Am not a lover of the Pandora bracelets... I have a Thomas Sabo one which I LOVE!

You can get lots of different charms for it and I love people getting me them for a birthday present - I don't think its unoriginal at all.

This year one of my friends got me a trainer one because I ran the marathon. Last year I bought her a key one because she and her Fiance bought a house.

One of my friends bought a wedding ring one when he proposed to his wife (so that they could go shopping for the ring themselves).

Can't do any of those things with Pandora charms though! :p Well not really!

I'm not interested in these either. They seem to be money for old rope from what I can see. Plus we bought a £30 charm for my best friend's bracelet and the girls in the shop were miserable teenagers who didn't seem to have any interest in serving people or even smiling.

Got my Mrs a Pandora bracelet for her 22nd birthday. She was chuffed to bits. The actual bracelet isn't that expensive so got her a couple of charms to start her off as well.

She's a bit of a bracelet fiend, she's got a Links of London one and a Thomas Szabo one too! Makes gift buying easier though - if all else fails, get a charm!

Its all interchangeable.
The missus has got a load of skulls and various other stuff from Sabo mixed up with her Pandora stuff.

She likes it, so who am I to question it?

i bought my girlfriend one 3 years ago, now i can get a charm for her birthday and xmas each year, its a gift that is easy to carry on with, i dont only get her this but it takes little thought lol

I asked the wife if she wanted a Pandora Bracelet...she looked at me in a certain way and wandered off....

I assume that's a no then?

Pretty much the same sort of reaction i got from my missus when i wanted to buy her something nice.

Instead i bought her one of those shemballa bracelets in a colour she likes, shes happy and im happy.

Thankfully my missus unlike previous ex's isnt a money sucking ho bag:p
