Paper Plane Compitition

This is the best one I've ever built:

Doesn't need throwing hard at all, but goes for miles.

just made one of these, it crashed and burned :(

origami has never been a strong point of mine however.

I have a childhood paper plane competition that's haunted me for 18 years

We had one at school once
A big event
I was quietly confident
Prizes and everything

My best friend, football captain, was panicking as he couldn't make one
As all good friends do, i made him one

On the day, he threw his further than me.
I was second
He got the glory

Friendship to the test
Second by virtue of luck
Oh cruel paper plane

Hmmmmmm

I have done many a paper plane outside and the best one in decent paper plane flying winds stayed for a good min before stalling and crashing

it kept stalling, but the turbulance created from its fall caused it to right itself and continue flying, and the wind made it gain altitude :)

am i the only person who cant make any of the paper planes listed lol not even the planecut one lol

My grandad and dad used to have planes made from bolsa wood. The things could fly for ages and do some really cool stunts. I could remember firing them with an elastic band launcher thing and watching them fly around doing nice stunts before drilling into the floor and the wings breaking off :(

a friend of mine made one of those and threw it at the start of break (20 mins long)

at the end of break when we had to leave, it was still airborne.

FAIL.

That design is pretty common and is pretty average too. There are much better designs - lots of which depend on what you want - distance, altitude, paper-type, size, weight, shape, flight-time.
