Massive sound of a penny dropping in my flat as my GF and I just twigged that the reason why the leg impairment categories are Txx and Fxx is for an amputation through the Tibia (below knee) or Femur (above knee).

No idea what the 43 and 44 etc is all about.

Someone suggested that the commentary on More4 is better: I've no idea who it is, but all they do is give you a brief rundown of the country's paralympic history and then a rundown of the clothes they're wearing.

Not Channel 4's finest hour....

I have to agree. The show prior to the athletics procession was rather short but I'm guessing there will be some other things happening (though not with a big stage perhaps)

The lesson that should be learned from this procession is have a war, build a bigger paralympics team. Jimmy Carr may have been blasted for his Iraq War/Paralympics joke but it sadly seems to be true from what we've seen so far.
